Us is a private, shared space for couples to plan life together, remember what matters, and stay connected. We know you're trusting us with some of your most personal moments — your plans, your memories, your private thoughts. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
Our promise to you:
When you create an account, we collect your email address, a password (stored as an irreversible encrypted hash — we never see your actual password), and a display name. We use this to create your account, secure it, and let your partner know who they're talking to.
A "household" is the private, shared space between you and your partner. We store a household identifier, the two member accounts linked to it, and your chosen preferences (theme, settings).
This is the heart of the app — and the most sensitive data we hold. It includes:
| Feature | What's stored |
|---|---|
| Love Questions | Your answers to occasional reflective prompts about your partner |
| Calendar | Events, dates, reminders you create |
| Tasks & Shopping | To-do items and shopping list entries |
| Milestones & Anniversaries | Dates and notes you choose to track |
| Photos | Images you choose to upload |
| Places | Locations you save |
| Movies & TV | Titles you add to your watch list |
| Gift Tracker & Goals | Gift ideas, budgets, and shared or personal goals |
| Private Notes | Personal notes visible only to you, never your partner |
If you choose to subscribe, payment is handled entirely by Apple's App Store, Google Play, or our payment processor — we never see or store your card details. We only know whether your subscription is active, and the plan you chose.
We collect basic technical details (device type, app version, operating system version) only to fix bugs and ensure the app works correctly on your device. We do not collect your precise location, contacts, browsing history, or other apps on your device.
